From August 22nd until September 10th Hua Hin & the True Arena will host the ITF Pro Circuit.
The events will be free admission!
True Arena Hua Hin has joined hands with the International Tennis Federation (ITF), Cal-Comp Electronics (Thailand) PCL., and NOW26 Channel to organize the professional male and female tennis tournament and prize money ranging from US $10,000 to $25,000. The tournament aims to provide an opportunity for participating professional players to develop their skills and succeed in world-class circuits, on the way to greater success in their career. In addition, this will significantly promote Thailand and Hua Hin town as a sports-tourism destination among worldwide athletes as well as tourists via TV broadcast.

Many Hua Hin residents and regular visitors have been disappointed that the previously annual Hua Hin Jazz Festival has not happened in recent times.
However initial partner discussions for next year’s 2017 Hua Hin Jazz Festival have now started. The Festival is due to celebrate its 15th year anniversary in 2017 and planned for Friday 26th until Sunday 28 May. Invitations for partners are now being sought by B-Concept, a Bangkok event and entertainment group that focuses on event concepts around the Asia Pacific region and Event Management. Quality international and local artists. DJ’s performers, jazz, soul, funk, r and b, blues, Latin, world and lounge music performers with venues on the beach, in the city and in hotels around Hua Hin are invited to organise festival affiliated events and concerts.
The official website is to be launched soon. Keep your fingers crossed that 2017 will be the rebirth of this iconic Hua Hin event.

The Pak Nam Pran Half Marathon 2016 is supported by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and is part of the celebrations for Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s Birthday (which falls on 12 August) and the TAT’s Women’s Journey campaign.
As well as the 21km half-marathon, there will be a 10km mini-marathon and a 3.5 km fun-run. All competitors will get a running shirt on registration and a medal upon completion of their event. Food will also be provided as well as water along the route of the run.
There will be several prizes to win with cups for the top five runners in the 21km and 10 km races as well as for the best time by male and female runners. The best fancy dress costume will also be awarded a prize after a vote by the committee.

To commemorate Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s 84th Birthday Anniversary, the annual Queen’s Cup Hua Hin Triathlon will return for the eighth consecutive years during 13-14 August, 2016.
The two-day event will feature various races. On Saturday, 13 August, the competitions will comprise the sprint triathlon which is a short-distance triathlon involving a 750m swimming, 20km cycling and 5km running; the duathlon which consists of 2.5km running and 20km cycling; and a running event 5km).
The Queen’s Cup Hua Hin Triathlon 2016 will take place on Sunday, 14 August. This Olympic-distance triathlon will involve three disciplines 1.5km swimming, 40km cycling and 10km running.
The start and finish line for all races will be at the Black Mountain Water Park, located about 15km from Hua Hin town centre. The top three winners from each competition will receive trophies and prizes worth in total 550,000 Baht.
