The Red Cross Music festival is annual event in Hua Hin and is held at the 19 Rai or Queen Sirikit Park. It will be held from February 27th until March 8th and it features different musicians for each day of the event. It’s a great time out for every one of all ages and you can enjoy all types of food and entertainment!

The Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Tourism and Sports are busy organising the “Klai Kangwon Musical on the Beach”. This event is later this month; a play in honour of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej. The National News Bureau of Thailand reported. The Event was announced at a press conference presided over by Transport Minister Prajin Juntong and Minister of Tourism and Sports Ms Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul.
Apart from celebrating the King’s birthday, the event aims at providing an opportunity for Thai people to pay tributes to His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen. The event is scheduled to be held from 28 January to 1 February 2015 on the beach of Hua Hin Queen’s Park. Prachuap Khiri Khan People can attend the event free of charge. The Chairperson of Preserve Hua Hin Group under the Patronage of Princess Maha Chai Sirindhorn, Mr. Krit Rojanasthira has announced the 11th Preserve Hua Hin Concert.This is an annual music event in Hua Hin, takig place on 13th December 2014.The main objective of the concert is to honour His Majesty the King and celebrate his 87th birthday. Situated between Chatuchak and Vachira Banchathat parks, Queen SirikitParkwas established on August 12,1992 to commemorate the 60th birthday anniversary of HM Queen Sirikit. Honda Summer Festival in Hua Hin is organized every year since 2008. It takes place in May on Hua Hin beach. During the Honda musical festival Bossanove, Reggae, Ska, and Dance music is performed on the beach. Many Thai and leading foreign DJs and many bands from all over the world take past in the Hua Hin Honda Festival.
Hua Hin Honda Festival is attended by thousands of music fans from Bangkok and local provinces. Most of them are teenagers having a lot of fun on the beach. During Hua Hin Honda Festival all Hua Hin hotels are fully booked and those visitors who have not reserved hotel room sleep on the beach listening to the music until 2 pm.
During the festival Honda display Honda Jazz cars to the public. Honda Jazz could grab the attention of teenagers and many of them usually decide to reserve cars during the festival.
The teenagers said that when they have learned that Honda will held
festival on Takiab Beach, they persuaded their friends, parents and families to join the event. The festival has been a great success all participants were very happy.
During the Hua Hin Honda Festival there is a lot of traffic around Takiab Village. Traffic Police officers divert motorists to park their cars at Nongkae Village and walk about 2 km to Takiab Village because all vehicles are not able to reach the festival’s area.
This trendy flea market is new vibe of Hua Hin town, offering a mix of art items, designed-oriented products, hand-made souvenirs, T-shirts, shoes, bags, soap, candles, decorative items, open-air food court with food from other regions as well as international food. This market is initiated with art-inspired concept. Located in the middle of the garden, white houses are used as fine art galleries, painting exhibition and other types of art displays. The market is also served as an entertainment venue thanks to the amphitheatre style garden which has a stage for performing arts such as music, dance, story-telling.

Plearnwan is a theme of unique Thai Style wooden buildings featuring shopping here you will find a two-storey courtyard-style building with an architectural statement in itself. You can stroll through and find shops selling everything from liquor, inexpensive plastic-and-tin toys, snacks as well as a beauty salon, photo studio, outdoor cinema screen and a 20-room guesthouse or ‘Piman Plern Wan’.
Food is the main highlight at Plearn Wan. But other than the usual pad thai or grilled meat skewers, you will find a good mix of old and new. Hard-to-find snacks, such as ‘tong muan sod’ (sweetened pancake) and ‘ka lor jee’ (similar to Japanese mochi), are cooked up by order at one of the hawker carts lining the walkway along with typical fare such as noodles and barbecued pork over rice. And if you are a fan of Thai sweets, you will find a myriad of mouthwatering recipes here, from mango sticky rice to grass jelly with shaved ice and preserved fruits in sweetened syrup. Besides hopping from one food cart to the next, shopping is another favourite pastime for visitors to Plern Wan.
How to get there
By Car :
– Drive along Highway No. 35 (Thon Buri-Pak Tho) passing Samut Sakhon and Samut Songkhram Provinces and then take Highway No. 4 to Hua Hin. Total distance is 123 kilometers. It takes 2.30 hrs.
– Alternatively, it is possible to travel via Nakhon Pathom and Ratchaburi Provinces, a journey which takes 3 hrs.
By Bus :
Busses from Bangkok’s Southern Bus Terminal; 1st class (air-conditioned), 2nd class (air-conditioned) and (ordinary). The trip takes about 3 1/2 to 4 hours.
The bus leaves for Bangkok from a station next to Siripetchkasem Hotel. In addition, there are air-conditioned buses for Chumpon Province (4 hours), Surat Thani Province (7hours), Phuket Province (10 hours) and Krabi Province (9 hours)
By Van :
Various agencies on Khao San Road and Victory Monument in Bangkok operate minivans to Hua Hin.
By Train :
From Hua-Lum-Pong station, there are many trains to Hua Hin, Pranburi and Prachuap Khiri Kan. The trip takes about 3-3/4 hours from Bangkok.
Local buses / Song-Thaews :
From Hua Hin to the Hat (beach) of Khao Takiap, Khao Tam and Suan Son. These buses run from around 6 am. until 5.50 pm.
