Banyan Hua Hin Golf Course (10 minutes)

        The Banyan Golf Course is a top quality course in Hua Hin and opened in 2008. The Banyan Golf Course is an 18 hole par 72 course in the south of Hua Hin. The modern club house is overlooking the course and has a beautiful view of the mountain range surrounding Hua Hin. The course is maturing very well, the staff are very helpful and caddies are experienced on the course.  You’ll be able to enjoy the clubhouse, restaurant and pro shop as well as life time memberships are available. A must play when in Hua Hin!

        The course is only 10 minutes from downtown and located on Soi 112 which is the new bypass road.

        Black Mountain Golf Club, Hua Hin Thailand

        The Black Mountain course caters to golfers of all skill levels. This challenging yet playable layout lies in the stunning terrain, features interconnected waterways, undulating fairways and greens with the breathtaking natural landscape.

        A unique feature of the course is the landscaping with native red grass, which not only creates a hazard for the wild shots but also frames the holes and adds to the stunning views. To master the layout, you need to use good golfing strategy alongside careful placement of your approach shots and also a sensible approach to the risk and reward decisions. The typical challenge that Black Mountain offering will bring you back to once again try new strategies and to admire the fantastic views of Thailand’s best champion course.

        Imperial Lake View Hotel & Golf Club (25 minutes)

        With a hotel on the course, Imperial Lake View provides an idyllic setting for golfers keen to just play the game and then relax in peace and quiet. The 27-hole layout includes the Desert course – probably the best 9 holes in the Hua Hin area. The original 18 holes feature undulating fairways and greens requiring the golfer to select a target landing area rather than just teeing it up and letting it rip!

        Palm Hills Hua Hin Golf Resort & Country Club (15 minutes)

        Wide fairways and large greens make Palm Hills a very user-friendly. To offset this there is a fair amount of water to cross as lakes used for irrigation have been blended into the undulating layout. While the greens may be large, they can be variable in speed and smoothness making them difficult to read. Due to its close proximity to Hua Hin, Palm Hills is very heavily used and as a consequence, it can at times look very worn.

        Springfield Royal Country Club (25 minutes)

        Home of the 2001 Thai Open and rated by many as one of the top three layouts in the country, Springfield features the full Nicklaus theme – long par 4’s, big bunkers, plenty of water and an island green. For the middle handicapper, the par 4’s will require regular use of fairway metals. The first hole is a gentle form of introduction.

        Majestic Creek Country Club (30 minutes)

        Majestic Creek, one of the most scenic courses, generally plays long as the luscious fairways do not permit the ball to run far. The two par 5’s at the end of each 9 are seldom reached in two – even by the pros. Keeping the ball below the pin will help to save strokes as the greens are mostly sloped from the back.

        Royal Hua Hin Golf Course (5 minutes)

        Thailand’s oldest course is a natural layout out in wooded land rather than the resort style so popular today. There are no water hazards except for the most wayward shots, but the average golfer will have enough problems keeping out of the trees. Walking is a prerequisite for playing at Royal Hua Hin, though we hear golf carts may be available.

        Bangkok Golf – Milford (20 minutes)

        Opened in 1992, Milford has come on in leaps and bounds in the last two years. The tight layout on the front 9 puts a premium on accurate tee shots while the back 9 is more open, but no less tricky. The greens are very fast and feature some deceptively difficult slopes to add to navigational problems in reaching the hole.

        Sea Pine Golf Course on the Hua Hin Beach (10 Minutes)

        The Sea Pine Golf Course was originally designed as an army barracks and later the course was added. It borders the Pectkasem Road and goes all the way to the sandy beaches on HUa Hin. The course is easily accessible from Hua Hin.

        Kaeng Krachan Country Club (90 minutes)

        The first thing that strikes one when going to Kaeng Krachan is that the course is more than 15 kms from the entrance. The next thing is the course length – 7,331 yards off the back tees. Because of its location, the course is rarely busy. The layout is challenging and the course condition is usually good, but the greens can be variable.

        Sawang Resort Golf Club (75 minutes)

        Set in the Khao Yoi hills just over one hour north of Hua Hin, Sawang Resort weaves its way through heavily wooded countryside. Holes 1 and 10 are friendly but thereafter each 9 offers the golfer a stiff challenge in reaching greens in regulation. Intensive work on the course has seen both fairways and green improve in condition. Sawang Resort also has a limited amount of accommodation available on site.
