The Black Mountain course caters to golfers of all skill levels. This challenging yet playable layout lies in the stunning terrain, features interconnected waterways, undulating fairways and greens with the breathtaking natural landscape.

A unique feature of the course is the landscaping with native red grass, which not only creates a hazard for the wild shots but also frames the holes and adds to the stunning views. The Hua Hin Golf Course Booking and Pricesoriginal 18 holes feature undulating fairways and greens requiring the golfer to select a target landing area rather than just teeing it up and letting it rip!

palm hills golf course hua hin thailand

Palm Hills Hua Hin Golf Resort & Country Club (15 minutes)

Designed by Max Wexler, Par 72 (6,888 yards)

Wide fairways and large greens make Palm Hills a very user-friendly. To offset this there is a fair amount of water to cross as lakes used for irrigation have been blended into the undulating layout. While the greens may be large, they Hua Hin Golf Course Booking and Pricescan be variable in speed and smoothness making them difficult to read. Due to its close proximity to Hua Hin, Palm Hills is very heavily used and as a consequence, it can at times look very worn.

Springfield Golf and Country Club Hua Hin Thailand

Springfield Royal Country Club (25 minutes)

Designed by Jack Nicklaus, Par 72 (7,063 yards)

Home of the 2001 Thai Open and rated by many as one of the top three layouts in the country, Springfield features the full Nicklaus theme – long paHua Hin Golf Course Booking and Pricesr 4’s, big bunkers, plenty of water and an island green. For the middle handicapper, the par 4’s will require regular use of fairway metals. The first hole is a gentle form of introduction.

majestic creek golf course hua hin

Majestic Creek Country Club (30 minutes)

Designed by Sukitti Klangvisai, Par 72 (6,169 yards)

Majestic Creek, one of the most scenic courses, generally Hua Hin Golf Course Booking and Pricesplays long as the luscious fairways do not permit the ball to run far. The two par 5’s at the end of each 9 are seldom reached in two – even by the pros. Keeping the ball below the pin will help to save strokes as the greens are mostly sloped from the back.

royal hua hin golf course hua hin

Royal Hua Hin Golf Course (5 minutes)

Designed by A.O. Robins, Par 72 (6,678 yards)

Thailand’s oldest course is a natural layout out in wooded land rather than the resort style so popular today. Walking is a prerequisite for playing at Royal Hua Hin, though we hear golf carts may be available.

Milford Golf Course Hua Hin Thailand

Bangkok Golf – Milford (20 minutes)

Designed by Robert McFarland, Par 72 (6,614 yards)

Opened in 1992, Milford has come on in leaps and bounds in the last two years. The tight layout on the front 9 puts a premium on accurate tee shots while the back 9 is more open, but no less Hua Hin Golf Course Booking and Pricestricky. The greens are very fast and feature some deceptively difficult slopes to add to navigational problems in reaching the hole.

Sea Pine hua hin golf course

Sea Pine Golf Course on the Hua Hin Beach (10 Minutes)

Designed by the Royal Thai Army, Par 72 (6,780 yards)

The Sea Pine Golf Course was originally designed as Hua Hin Golf Course Booking and Pricesan army barracks and later the course was added. It borders the Pectkasem Road and goes all the way to the sandy beaches on HUa Hin. The course is easily accessible from Hua Hin.

Kaeng Krachan Country Club hua hin golf course

Kaeng Krachan Country Club (90 minutes)

        Par 72 (7,331 yards)

The first thing that strikes one when going to Kaeng Krachan is that the course is more than 15 kms from the entrance. The next thing is the course length – 7,331 yardsHua Hin Golf Course Booking and Prices off the back tees. Because of its location, the course is rarely busy. The layout is challenging and the course condition is usually good, but the greens can be variable.

Sawang Resort Golf Club hua hin golf course

Sawang Resort Golf Club (75 minutes)

Designed by Isao Katsumata, Par 72 (6,959 yards)

Set in the Khao Yoi hills just over one hour north of Hua Hin, Sawang Resort weaves its way through heavily wooded countryside. Holes 1 and 10 are friendly but thereafter each 9 offers the golfer a stiff challenge in reaching greens in regulation. Intensive work on the course has seenHua Hin Golf Course Booking and Prices both fairways and green improve in condition. Sawang Resort also has a limited amount of accommodation available on site.

—————————————————————————————————————————

In the Kanchanaburi area other courses of note include:Hua Hin Golf Course and Tours

Royal Ratchaburi Golf Club (90 minutes)

Designed by Artana Yomchinda, Par 72 (6,785 yards)

Every golfer has favorite layouts and Royal Ratchaburi is one of ours. The course, always in excellent condition, is marked by the contrast in the layout of each 9. Our signature hole is the 16th where there are two fairways with water on both sides. The left fairway is the more direct route to the green which is protected by bunkers and more water. It’s not a long hole but it can pose a problem with club selection.

Mission Hills Golf Club (120 minutes)

Designed by Jack Nicklaus, Par 72 (7,046 yards)

If you like Nicklaus courses, this layout is a must. Rated by The International Tournament Player Club, it has everything – length, water, island greens and those never-ending bunkers. Definitely a challenge for a low handicapper while not too daunting for the majority middle and high handicapper. Because of its location, it is rarely busy midweek.

Dragon Hills Golf & Country Club (120 minutes)

Designed by Global Golf Design, Inc, Par 72 (6,812 yards)

About two hours from Hua Hin or Bangkok, Dragon Hills is well worth the time it takes to drive there. Many rate it is as the best layout in the country and certainly the signature holes from 10 through 12 are scenic and challenging. A feature of Dragon Hills is that one only sees the fairway and/or green that one is playing – great for layout designers but a source of many possible penalty strokes for lost balls and unplayable lies.

Nichigo Resort & Country Club (120 minutes)

Designed by Mitsuaki Kobayashi, Par 72 (7,113 yards)

When you take on the River and Lake 9’s you may expect to see a lot of water. You will not be disappointed. Lakes and streams criss-cross the fairways meaning that one needs both accuracy and control. If you are playing the Mountain 9, then you will be facing a number of blind shots in addition to the usual problems one faces on hilly courses with stances above and below the ball.

Phraya Nakhon Cave

March 12, 2014 by Clrance Heck

Phraya Nakhon Cave

Phraya Nakhon Cave (Tham Phraya Nakhon)

Tham Phraya Nakhon Cave can be reached on foot from Laem Sala beach inside the park. The rather steep and rocky ascent up the side of the mountain (about 430 meters long) provides spectacular sea views and takes about 30 minutes.

Tham Phraya Nakhon is actually two sinkholes whose roof has fallen in, letting in sunlight. In the middle of the cave is a Thai-style pavilion built for a visit by King Rama V in 1896. The cave was named for Phraya Nakhon, ruler of the city-state of Nakhon Si Thammarat, who inadvertently discovered it over 200 years ago when a gale forced his ship ashore.

How to get there
Phraya Nakhon Cave can be reached from Laem Sala Beach, by a steep rocky trail, 430 m. long and rising to a height of 130m., taking about 30 minute to climb. Caution should be used and proper footwear worn as the rock is sharp and can be slippery.
